Welcome to my website. I hope to share with you my interest in amateur radio communication and other pastimes. I have lots of interests including amateur radio, arduino programming, gardening and traveling. I am a fan of rugby union and support Northampton Saints. I am a big reader and have an eclectic taste in music (Blues, Progressive Rock, Soul, Sacred Choral music). I’m also a bit of a collector. In the past I collected Eddystone radios, although I have sold most of my collection now. I still collect postcards that are of a radio-related theme as well as Valentine cards and magic lamp slides.
At the moment my website is under construction and not all pages are functional.
Amateur Radio
I have a long-standing interest in radio communication. The following pages provide details of my amateur radio station. (Amateurs do not broadcast music, etc. They are interested in the design and building of radio communication equipment and then using it to communicate with other licensed radio amateurs around the world). There are pages on my radio station, awards I have achieved, data-modes – which are communication modes that particularly interest me and QSL cards (cards that radio amateurs exchange to confirm two-way communication) and a few items from my radio-related postcard collection.
